read the Manuel you got with I-POD you have to reset it
to reset
1. i-pod toggle the hold switch on and off (set it to hold then turn it off
again)
2. press and hold the select and menu buttons for at least 6 seconds until
Apple logo appears
(this sometime take abit of time to get it right but it does work but you do
lose all the data on your pod)
