Buy the best HiFi you can afford and connect with a media player.
I still use a Quad 33/303/ELS from the '60s that works fine with mp3s via a
Netgear MP101Wirless Media player. The wireless connection is a bit "clunky"
and looses the signal every so often and the only control is a remote -
without volume control which is annoying. But there are better media players
out there. If you are going to use the Netgear, get the Twonkyvision
server - it's a lot better.
Or just get a "Media Centre" - look in the comics or PC world.
