I have tried all the free tag editors I can find, but they all have problems
or failings.
Eventually I decided to invest $24.90 on Dr.Tag and haven't looked back
since It is a wonderful application which does everything you need and
willl save you hours! See http://www.drtag.de/en/
It will do the sorting and track numbering you require intuitively and
automatically.
It has excellent 'Help' - just look up 'track numbering' to find out how it
works.
