No it doesn't. You probably are not a stupid person, but you are
certainly making yourself look stupid. Everytime you insist you are
about this you paint yourself more firmly into the corner marked "dork".
All you need to do is concede that one little point, and everyone else
will have a chance to see that you don't in fact belong there.
Conceding that it is perfectly normal usage to say that "never having
lived with something" simply means that it has never been a part of
one's daily life won't mean a loss of face for you. It won't mean
backing down to a humiliating defeat. No one will think less of you for
it. It's just what ordinary intelligent people do when they are in the
wrong. What they don't do is tie themselves up in knots so they don't
have to admit it.
"I've never lived with pain" doesn't mean I've never suffered pain, just
that it hasn't been part of my daily life.
"I've never lived with violence and abuse" doesn't mean I've never
suffered violence or abuse, just that it hasn't been part of my daily
life.
"I've never lived with fear" doesn't mean I've never been afraid, just
that it hasn't been part of my daily life.
"I've never lived with Windows" doesn't mean that I've never used it,
just that it hasn't been part of my daily life.
