Another quickie, i`ve found the "dangerous brothers" beta firmware A105
but ISTR someone saying you can bypass the region lockout on dvddecrypt
to rip data without setting the region change flag (although it might be
slower)
Has anyone used the dangerous bros. firmware and can verify it works, or
can someone explain how to set dvddecrypt to read the data without
updating the RPC flag ? (or with dvdshrink if it has the capability)
Does something like dvd43 get around the lockout, allowing you to rip
data ?
Would I be right in thinking RPC-1 is the "unlocked" variant of the
firmware, and the RPC-2 is the bastardo "you'll only buy in your own
region" shite ?
