It's a different animal from 24 & Sopranos.
If push came to shove, I'd say not on the same level as them.......yet, even
though I love the concept & lapped up every episode.
After adjusting to who the characters are, you have to look beneath the
surface - some are (unexpectedly) selfish & deceitful, yet appear on the
surface to be conventional "heroic" types. It also loses its way a bit,
midway through season 1, but bounces back very strongly for the last 8
episodes.
Biggest challenge - you'll either buy in to the program's flash-back format
or get frustrated at how it interferes with developments on the island.
