Try looking at Liteon's website for 'firmware' updates. You will have to
download a file, probably burn it onto a CD then put it in the machine and
maybe hold a button or two down while it starts to update itself. Hardware
manaufacturers often use this method to allow users to re-program the
software that runs the recorder with the latest version which usually
includes bug fixes etc.
