Listen to Gareth, he's 100% correct. The cheque WILL bounce (eventually),
and YOU will be held responsible for returning any money spent, and almost
as likely will be under suspicion of knowingly passing fake cheques
(especially if the investigators read this NG!).
The cheque is fake. The deal is fake. They guy's name is fake, yada, yada,
yada....
Go top www.419eater.com and read some of the letters in the Letters Archive
to laugh yourself stupid at how the scammers get scammed.... Once you've
done that, log onto their forum and ask the 12,000 members there if there's
any chance of you getting any cash. I know what the reply will be :)
