No, I know there are plenty such devices (PSP with 1GB memory card probably
being best at the moment to my mind). What I'm talking about is the mindset
change from the "authorities" to allow such devices become the norm and to
accept that dvds are gonna be ripped and viewed on such devices -and to make
it straightforward to do -and offer legal downloads.
That kind of talk was pikey-speak in the music industry too until the ipod
came and (eventually) changed the mindset. Yes it leads to more pirate
copies, but it also fills a need that a lot of people have who want to use
the latest technology & gadgets -legally.
