Ones I have tried and are very easy to use are:
Ulead DVD studio, I think that is what it is called. Very easy drag
and drop. Very intuitive system add video files or dvd video edit
start and stop points, cut out ad's or portions of the video add
chapters easily.
Sonic MyDVD is very easy to use and gives good results. Animated
buttons, motion menu's etc
And TMPgenc DVD author is also easy to use.
Roxio Media Suite has a good DVD author system and has a Divx to DVD
function that converts downloaded Divx files to DVD on your hard drive
or straight to disc with no menus but does do chapter breaks.
If you do Divx to DVD on your HDD instead of disc you can then import
the VOB files into one of the other above mentioned packages. But
only one of the above will work with Divx directly but i can't remember
which one, i think it was Ulead I am not sure, the rest don't want to
know. Even roxio's DVD creater won't work with them even though
another part of the suite will convert them to DVD files. odd.
The above are all very similar in their functions and ease of use and
step by step process. and all work better with a good processor and
lots of RAM.
