I believe that a DVD player can send PAL or NTSC signals to a TV(regardless
of region/continent etc). Also Multi, depending on the player/Disk.
Your option, if available, is to set the output to the TV as PAL(this should
be in the DVD Player setup), then NTSC will convert to PAL to the TV and
you'll get colour.
This seems to work on all the DVD players I have.
