Hi , I bought a goodmans hdd dvd recorder 2 weeks ago, its an absolute
nightmare to learn to use the manual is total crap, it has some features
that are seriously detrimental to its future, but once you have a grasp of
how to use it its not too bad and its 199.99 from argos, however i am having
to edit on rw discs in my pc before making the final burn to dvd r, it is
not regioned so no problems there, probably not so bad for the price, but
came as a serious shock after using a pioneer, which is however 150.00
dearer and million years ahead, its i suppose cheap and cheerful, but i will
not buy any other goodmans products ever, oh yes by the way, you cannot copy
from dvd to hdd unless its from a dvd/rw disc, and you cannot edit hdd
recordings fom the hard drive, in dvd/rw the instructions say you can insert
chapters and then delete them ( editing out adverts for example) but to date
i have not been able to get a result, the machine says its doing it but the
chapter numbers do not change or increase. All in all not very nice at all
and rather amateur, looks like they quickly cobbled a hdd onto a dvd
recorder, OR MINE IS FAULTY.
