Have you read his book, Inside the Third Reich? I found it a great read,
but your question still stands, thata's what he said (or wrote) but how
honest was it?

Very much so. I think even the British pointed him out as a shining
example of a German during the second World War. Thinking the article
would be used against him, by Hitler's power hungry inner circle, Speer
took the article to Hitler himself.

Traudl or something is it. What cracked me up was reading that she and her
co-worker used to do a gentle micky take of Hitler who often used the
expression, "There are two possibilities, either we shall be at war with
the British or we shall not...." I think her version was "There are two
possibilities, either we shall go to lunch or we shall not...."
Given the context, and the target of the joke, that struck me as pretty
funny.
