I don't mind that so much, it's just particularly frustrating when
getting episodic titles. Let's take the Darling Buds of May for instance
- just a random title - and they send you over the coming weeks disc 3,
disc 2 and then disc 1. It's makes viewing the thing almost impossible
unless you make notes as to who said what and who did what with whom(!)
and then watch the earlier epsiodes and think, "oh - so that's what
happened then!".

Indeed - at least with those you could turn the things over and continue
where you left off. Here it's possibly a day or two wait minimum, up
until never ever seeing the remainder of the title because you've
cancelled the subscription and buggered off elsewhere to another DVD
rental company or have just gone and bought the bloody title yourself.

I wouldn't, but I do - and that's only because there doesn't appear to
be a single company yet that's got it right. I have no loyalty to any
of the DVD rental companies until they buck up their ideas and employ
better project managers and programmers (who should have spotted this
issue from the start and slapped their superiors with whatever they
could lay their hands on at the time) who recognise the importance of
getting multiple disc title orders shipped out correctly in the right
order!
