Probably to do with the various industries - wanting to keep the price
high because they know it's possible to copy a full DVD without having
to resort to transcoding. My guess is that if it is industry influence
affecting the prices, we *might* see a price drop when HD/Blue-Ray is
the norm.
Just a theory - not a particularly good one perhaps, but it's a theory..
