Today, DVD Verdict posted reviews of THE ADVENTURES OF OCIEE NASH, AND
THEN THERE WAS ONE, CHRISTMAS WITH RED SKELTON, CROSS BONES, HIGH
LONESOME, LADY CHATTERLEY'S LOVER, LOVE DON'T COST A THING, MONSIEUR N,
and OH HEAVENLY DOG:

THE ADVENTURES OF OCIEE NASH (reviewed by David Johnson, overall
score 74/100):
"Harmless as a neutered grasshopper."

AND THEN THERE WAS ONE (reviewed by Diane Wild, overall score 63/100):
"Criticizing this well-meaning film feels like kicking a puppy -- a sick
puppy -- but it's not a particularly entertaining hour and a half, when
what should be a heart wrenching story is undermined by a script that
treats its protagonists as saints instead of people."

CHRISTMAS WITH RED SKELTON (reviewed by Neil Dorsett, overall
score 50/100):
"This is a 'gift idea.' It'll sit there at drugstores again this year,
hoping for that moment when a little kid is desperate for a gift to her
grandparents, and mom's around to say, 'Hey, I remember them watching
Red Skelton a lot.'"

CROSS BONES (reviewed by Mitchell Hattaway, overall score 30/100):
"Daniel Zirilli is the man who co-wrote and directed Cross Bones. To
this sterling list of accomplishments you can add the following: Daniel
Zirilli has made me pray for the cold, sweet kiss of Death."

FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/crossbones.php

HIGH LONESOME (reviewed by George Hatch, overall score 45/100):
"When the plot slows to a crawl and drags itself along like a wounded
rattlesnake that got confused and bit its own tail, it's time to throw
in a hoedown to wake everybody up. In 1950, when High Lonesome was
released, I'll bet most people 'grabbed their partners' and hightailed
it out of the theater."

LADY CHATTERLEY'S LOVER (reviewed by Rob Lineberger, overall
score 68/100):
"It may have kept late-nite cable afloat in the '80s, but Lady
Chatterley's Lover has little dramatic or erotic impact now. Read
the book -- or better yet, watch a double feature of Gosford Park
and Bolero."

LOVE DON'T COST A THING (reviewed by Neil Dorsett, overall score
63/100):
"Love Don't Cost a Thing probably don't cost too much as a cable sale,
and it surely deserves that."

FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/lovedontcostthing.php

MONSIEUR N (reviewed by Joel Pearce, overall score 77/100):
"An old-fashioned mystery on its surface, Monsieur N is not really the
thriller that it promises to be, nor is it particularly mysterious. It
is a nicely mounted production, though, with a rich political complexity
and ambiguity that many viewers will find rewarding."

FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/monsieurn.php

OH HEAVENLY DOG (reviewed by Patrick Naugle, overall score 50/100):
"The film was co-written and directed by Benji-creator Joe Camp, which
is like Rankin & Bass producing the next Hannibal Lecter picture."
