As a DVD player which can cope with DVD-RAM needs *BOTH* a RAM compatible
drive (not that common even on PC drives!) *AND* specific firmware support
for the RAM recording format (which is very different to normal DVDs and, for
example, does not have the concept of "finalised"!) you are going to be
mostly limited to those DVD players made by the same firms which support RAM
in their DVD recorders!
For example the Panasonic DVDS49 seems to support RAM disks.
