DV avi takes up 13gb space per hour of footage, after processing 2 hours
of captured laserdisc film footage for DVD creation I save it as a
huffyuv compressed avi which ends up being over 30gb, then it's encoded
to a 4gb or 7gb mpeg2 for the DVD.
