thanks, i thought it would perhaps be because of the 1:1 pixel mapping or
something. i have both "full" and (i think its called) "wide" on my pio
plasma, that you can change when on hdmi, i think its for sorting 4:3 ratio
stuff though. the EZ zoom button on the samsung normally fixes non
anamorphic ratios properly, or even lets you fill 2:240 material to 1:185 if
you don't like the black bars, or the stuff at the side of the screen, but
just wont work at all for playing divx or mpg which is a pain, meaning you
have to switch to scart use (or i suppose component
