I have a NEC 3540 which is playing up, some times it writes other times it
errors. It is also temperamental at reading discs.
I have 2 other 3540A drives which have no such problems, so i know its the
particular rive.
My concern is if i send it back to ebuyer they will test it once, find it
works that one time, and mail it straight back to me .
Anyone know if there is a utility like there is with harddisks to run and
ascertain if there is a specific problem?.
