Hi there
I am looking for a DVD recorder to be used as a replacement for my vcr,
but also to back up mini dv camcorder tapes. Panasonic's most basic
recorder with the dv input seems to be the DMRES20. I like Panasonic
because of the time slip thing and chasing playback that DVDRAM allows.
However, will discs recorded on this machine play on other players -
some reviews seem to indicate yes, others say no.
Or am I in the wrong camp altogether and should I go for a +RW machine?
