Forget playing RAM discs elsewhere, however you can dump your edited footage
to -rw/-r and expect a fair chance of compatibility with players. You need
to check really, the capabilities of the intended target players. Can be a
minefield. Look also at the Toshiba models. What is replacing the RDR-XS32?
Or you might get the 32 for a song - it's fab!!
