Yes, almost half an hour. There's more fleshing out in the early
section of the film, and some (to me) pointless insert shots near the
conclusion. Kubrick made the cuts after the US premiere, before the UK
premiere, so the versions remain different.
For me the perfect Shining would be the first half of the US, second
half of the UK. Aspect ratio? I'm too scared to say!
