I would not count on it.
Yanks seem to have as little understanding of TV formats and Region Codes as
they do of anything else outside of their country so their kit is likely to
be pure NTSC only
I would say that nearly half the VHS and DVDs I have flogged to the States
elicit an e-mail saying "hi brit person, this tape yah sold me don't wanna
work in my vcr" to which I reply "read my fucking auction properly"
