Doing similiar research. Only downside to the DMRES20D seems to be the
lack of a hard drive but as mentioned on
http://www.hamble.demon.co.uk/dvdrecorders.html you can record straight
to dvd-ram, which for my needs is likely fine. Ebuyer are selling it
for 200 inc vat & shipping. Interested to read other comments.
