Thanks. I think it depends upon where you buy it from, so you have to
be careful. I spoke to a salesman in a "specialist" audio-visual store
yesterday and he told me it was not possible to buy dvd recorders that
are multi-region compatible! What he should have said was "I cannot
sell you a multi-region compatible recorder from this store" but
obviously he would have known for sure he wouldn't get a sale then!
Made me think he either doesn't know what he is talking about, or
doesn't mind lying to try and get a sale. Either way I wouldn't return!
