if you have a DVD recorder and a cheap DVD player then there is a easy way
to convert. My roadstar dvdplayer has a button on the remote labelled SYSTEM
.. when pressed it cycles through PAL AUTO NTSC.
in auto it plays PAL as PAL and NTSC as NTSC BUT!!!! in NTSC mode it plays
all disks as NTSC including PAL disks. in PAL mode all disks play PAL
including NTSC. so if you have a similar button on your players remote
select NTSC and record to DISK hay presto a good copy of a true region free
NTSC version of the PAL disk you started with.
