Indeed. Whilst I can understand their search to protect their
investment in their products, what they suceed in doing is ensure idle
minds get a new "project", whilst those who would otherwise have
bought the items, not bothering becuase they cant be sure it will play
in all the equipment they have gone out and bought. Does the cost of
their endevours outweigh the cost of the losses through copying?
Probably not.
