"Wank frenzy" is a very good phrase to describe how people behave over what
I can only judge at a distance to be very ordinary books turned into average
films with good special effects. What was the one with the big snake at the
end hidden under the toilets? It didn't seem to have a plot - just a series
of scenes joined together by tenuous links.
