I have used all manner of software to do this but what I have had the
best and most recent success with is Nero Suite 7 which had bult in DVD
authoring with animated menu's and buttons etc. Good for putting
downloaded Divx series onto DVD, It is kind o like the Roxio suite
which is also good and like Nero will do Divx to DVD no problems.
I have also used ULead DVD and also Sonic My DVD both of which give
good results and are very intuitive when it comes to adding, editing,
menus etc
Aren't the DVD+R more universal? To be honest I have had discs lock up
on my brand new £100 player that work fine on the spare £20 player
and a 6 year old pioneer 525
If you have the time, it is always worth writing them at half the max
speed or less, I find I get less failures that way on my Pioneer DVD
