TBH I think it's actually the other way round, and -R is *theoretically*
more widely compatible, although I don't think there's much in it. I use -R
because that's what my standalone recorder uses, but I've burnt a couple of
dozen +Rs, and I don't think I've had a compatibility problem with either
format...
