Yes, the 35mm prints were 1.85:1 flat. Spielberg largely shoots in 1.85...
Saving Private Ryan, AI, Catch Me If You Can, Jurassic Park... all flat. He
rarely shoots in 'scope. The only 2.39 feature he shot that I can recall was
Minority Report, may be one or two others.
