I like that time-period too, but I'd much prefer a little realism over
"Hollywood does Gladiator on TV" this time around. I know there is some move
towards realism (whatever that means), but still the clip I saw looked like
ROME 90210.
I, Claudius is one of the all-time great TV programmes. Does it in any way
compare to that?
