Amazing how many people want "DL support". Do any of these people actually
burn DL discs? (Other than testing a disc or two perhaps). DL discs are far
too expensive at the moment, and the disc prices are only falling slowly.
Forget about DL. You'll find that you eventually write DL when the price of
the disks has fallen dramatically, and by then you'll be swapping any writer
you're thinking of buying now for a writer that is a lot faster.
As for the LG, I have one. It's good, but the firmware isn't up to the
standard of the Pioneer 110 and the NEC. You'll find that on the SVP site,
the 16X discs that burn at 16X on the Pioneer and the NEC only burn at 8X on
the LG.
