I think the point of the post has been lost. with 1 person saying buy an
amp. The chap has a system he has paid for and wants to get the best from it
.. he was not putting himself up for a that's crap why did you buy that etc
etc.
for my part I would say
Have you made sure that the speakers are correctly connected. the polarity
is important. i.e. if the ends of the wire is bare to terminals then check
the tracers are all to the same connections.
have you set the default menus /setup to 5.1 as you may have stereo as the
default.
