In answer to Damon's question, I paid 1250 for a 42" HD Ready Philips
Plasma TV from Martin Dawes in Birkenhead on Merseyside.
It should have cost me 1600.
I also got a 150 glass stand for 60.
The TV was boxed and brand new but I think the stand was an ex display
model.
