No, this didn't work. Those versions of the keys were available in
software DVD players, but until the debugging build code got sent around,
the master wasn't available because it was locked away and not available
to the hackers.

Granted, this could have happened for CSS.

Unfortunately, this wouldn't help with a properly designed public key system.

I really don't know if HD-DVD/BluRay is going to use a well-designed
encryption/authorization system or not, but in this day and age, there isn't
any logical reason it wouldn't. And, if it does use such a system, there
won't be any system-wide crack available, unfortunately.
