AUSTIN STEVENS SNAKEMASTER: IN SEARCH OF THE GIANT LIZARD, MONSTER
RATTLER, AND MORE! (reviewed by Eric Profancik, overall score 80/100):
"Even though he knows better, he has no qualms or reservations about
putting his face two inches away from some of the most venomous snakes
on the planet. What a loon! Enthused about finding something, he forgets
what he's dealing with, and only then realizes he's two seconds away
from death. It certainly makes for gripping television."

THE BRADY BUNCH: THE COMPLETE SECOND SEASON (reviewed by Dennis Prince,
overall score 79/100):
"Series creator/producer Sherwood Schwartz (Gilligan's Island)
maintained his faith in the family unit and continued to bet the Bradys
offered the sort of hip-but-not-hypocritical wholesomeness that would
draw viewers across the nation (and ultimately around the world)."

CHARMED: THE COMPLETE SECOND SEASON (reviewed by Ryan Keefer, overall
score 76/100):
"Often times, considering the women in question, a lot of dramatic
acting and key action sequences involve exposed midriffs, pajamas and
plunging necklines."

LOST: THE COMPLETE FIRST SEASON (reviewed by a panel, overall
score 98/100):
"I've never seen a television set that examines a show so well. Lost:
The Complete First Season blows away all previous attempts to chronicle
a series."
FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/lostseason1.php
LOST IN SPACE: SEASON THREE, VOLUME TWO (reviewed by Dennis Prince,
overall score 77/100):
"Clearly, Lost in Space has withstood more than its share of slings and
arrows. The assault continues with the release of this highly
indifferent series-ending DVD boxed set."

MAGIC SCHOOL BUS: CATCHES A WAVE (reviewed by Bryan Pope, overall
score 90/100):
"Well, God bless them, because their series of award-winning The Magic
School Bus books have been largely responsible for establishing a
healthy curiosity about the sciences in, I would venture to guess,
millions of children worldwide."

MISTER ROGERS' NEIGHBORHOOD: GOING TO SCHOOL (reviewed by Mike Pinsky,
overall score 85/100):
"I say again, where are the Mister Rogers boxed sets? Every American
child should be raised to the soothing voice of Fred Rogers."

THE OFFICE (U.S. VERSION): SEASON ONE (reviewed by Mike Pinsky, overall
score 85/100):
"Steve Carell is just too good for this show. He seems tied down, with
only 20 minutes or so per episode (less, given the time spent on
supporting characters) to light up the television screen. I wanted the
camera to get back to him -- unlike in the British version, where I
enjoyed all the characters. I hope the second season of the show either
allows Carell to cut loose more or develops the supporting characters in
some more interesting directions."

PENN AND TELLER'S MAGIC AND MYSTERY TOUR (reviewed by Mac McEntire,
overall score 85/100):
"There's illusion and then there's disillusion. Here we have an entire
DVD devoted to Penn and Teller exploring the roots of magic, but by
having Teller speak on camera, they've ruined their own magic; one more
potent than the slight of hand required to pull a three of hearts out
of nowhere."

3RD ROCK FROM THE SUN: SEASON ONE (reviewed by Dennis Prince, overall
score 100/100):
"For the folks at Anchor Bay Entertainment and Carsey-Warner
Distribution, well, may they be duly probed, prodded, and violated for
their lack of sincerity and requisite shame over trying to pull a fast
one over the lower life-forms known as 'consumers.'"
