Just a warning at screen select. I was a member till about June - when
I cancelled we checked that we had no outstanding debts or DVDs. Today
I received a very unpleasent letter from a debt collecting agency
saying that I owe screen select a DVD (I do not) and they wanted £20.
Also that Screen Select had contacted me about this (they had not).
Turns out DVD was one we rented over 1 year ago, was returned as
un-viewable (scratched) but there system still marked it as owing.
I talked to them and they say they will sort it - but I happen to have
access to my credit reference - and I see it has already been
down-graded.
Charming eh? Surprised that SS act like such cowboys selling on debts
(erroneously) in this way when their systems are not up to scratch.
