well, from the early reports (yes, taken with salt...) it looks like
Sony's BluRay is going to "not do it right" but in the far-overreaching
fashion. It "looks" to be unbreakable but also has stuff like how it
can (potentially) shut itself down if it is region crakced or such.
The 2 forms of copy protection, including a renewable form looks to be
quite formidable. Whether this will AID Bluray acceptance or hinder it
is certainly up to debate.
