I have the 5000 which is superb. Biggest advantage over Eppies is the replaceable
print head. If you clog it up, just buy a new one = new printer. A bit like the old
HP cartridge concept, a happy half way house.
Mine prints on CDs - not the fastest, but certainly a first rate print which dries
instantly, and using original carts with Epson Premium Glossy paper (a lot cheaper
than Canon Pro) you will get superb results.
It auto aligns using a LED. It prints and scans its own print and self aligns, sweet!
