Have you tried using the "create" (sp?) feature in Shrink ? - if
you`re not bothered about the extras for now, when you open it up in
Shrink, select create, and only copy across the movie itself.
I had a similar problem on a damaged remastered Sherlock Holmes, but I
was able to rip the film out on its own just fine :-)
