I am not keen on trawling through forums, these places are sometimes
more than I can manage tbh.

I've not been into dvd writing for long, much less time than cdr and,
like i said, I don't burn data or anything so it's all pretty new to
me. I was led to understand, before I took the plunge, that apart from
the fact that TY were an acknowledged leader the better brands are
just that, the better brands, and that reliability wasn't an issue
unless you go for cheap and shoddy goods. I also was led to understand
that blank dvdr is less stable than when it is actually written to.
That's about it really.

I guess I'll just have to watch those prices for any signs.
