The Targa that Lidl were selling recently is a good buy if you can find
one.
I've had a H&B 3255 for a couple of months, and that works pretty well -
never had any jerkiness from that and it's played everything I've thrown
at it.
I've actually got that up for sale at the moment for £25 - replacing it
with a media centre pc. Again, you can generally pick those up for
around £50.
