Some good effects.
Way too long - I thought they added in soem of those creepy crawly
secenes just because they could
Trying to add in a bit of feeling as well as adventure - I will admit I
did feel sorry for Kong but I feel they lost a lot in the way of
adventure by slowing it down so much.
Needs cutting by 40mins at least. The Island scenes dragged o nfor too long.
Couple of plot holes - inevitably how did they get Kong back - but also
the fact it went from night to day in NY in about 30mins (unless the
planes were actually trying to take him out all night - it did feel like
that mind!)
Overall an OK watch - don't expect an epic.
I feel a lot of people will say its brilliant because of the effects.
