Scream was published by IPC Magazines, the first issue being released on
24th March 1984. After just 15 issues Scream was removed from the Shelves
following complaints from concerned parents about graphic nature of the
stories. Scream was then combined with another comic, The Eagle, but in a
much toned down version. Scream vanished completely about a year later.
Having kept these 15 issues of Scream for the last 20 years, I've decided to
put them up for sale. I've not as yet calculated their full value, so I'm
open to sensible offers should anyone wish to purchase this extreemly rare
and 'to the bone' collection. There is currently just one single issue up
for sale on Ebay for 18.99.
I can't stress strong enough how amazingly well kept these comics are. They
were boxed and stored in mint condition almost 20 years ago. They are as
good now as when they were locked away all those many years back. There are
no tears, no creases, nothing. They are truly mint.
For those interested in comics, I also have the first 200 or so issues of
the re-released Eagle comic starting back in 1982 (in sequence from number 1
with no missing issues). These are also up for sale should anyone wish to
purchase them. Again, I've not fully calculated their value as yet. They are
in a similar mint condition. Summer Specials included, as a a couple of rare
1980's books and annuals relating to 'The Eagle'
Please contact me by email should you be interested.
