For the last two or 3 weeks 'Doc Martin' programme quality has been very
iffy. As I've been watching it recorded I cant be 100% sure its the signal
and not the Sky+, but as its only been this program its unlikely to be the
Sky+. If you are watching it tonight would appreciate if you can post here
if you see the same glitches I and a few others have reported.
Q for anyone technical, what would be going on for one particulat program to
break up?
Would they lower the signal strength for one program? Or perhaps increase
compression so its more likely that glitches will affect it? Or could the
way they stored it prior to transmission be the problem? Last week some of
the glitches were very noticeable, missing sizeable fractions of a second,
so its not so much pixellation, its just as if some frames werent
transmitted at all. Maybe its a duff set of master recordings?
