>If you really can't get the DVDR to do what you want then just connect the digibox VCR output to the VCR scart 2. This will give you sat pass-through via the VCR whilst recording RF on the DVDR.
Thanks all, very helpful.
So to watch Sky in RGB I need either a) to have the DVDR switched to
AV2 and watch through that, or b) buy some sort of RGB switching device
that sounds like a palaver to me.
I think what I'll do is Jomtien's suggestion, and put up with a non RGB
picture when watching Sky if I am recording something by connecting the
digibox to the AV2 on the telly (probably through the vcr when I've
bought another scart lead. My telly's AV2 isnt RGB compatible so even
if the output of the second scart on the digibox was RGB I wouldnt
know!
Oh the march of technology!
On a related matter, I thought DVD-R were write once, but I recorded
something for a few minutes just as a test and deleted it, but the
machine still says there is 4 hours free on the disc. How come?
Cheers all, happy boxing day!
