I think washing is what done mine in!
Used some cheapo carts from SVP which blocked some of the nozzles in the
heads. Tried washing it (no improvement) then tried in a weak solution of
acetone (to try and dissolve any blocked residue). The head stopped
communicating with the printer (the solvent must've destroyed a contact
somewhere!)
