Think about it. I could copy the movie now on my home PC and give it to a
friend. It is easier to copy just the main movie without the sanctimonious
crap. My friend therefore has a better copy than me - and I paid 15 to
watch it.
It's a little like the Disney VHS tapes - which had a minute or so *before*
the movie of how crap pirate copies were. Disney, however, chose to use
such cheap tape that a pirate copy made by anyone but a total incompetent
would be far better quality (better saturation etc.) and also not include
the same message.
The media luvvy idiots whom propogate this stuff think it is just like
advertising - getting your "brand" out there and changing social views on
these things. The MP3 debacle proves them wrong (if they can't see common
sense). I'm annoyed at myself for the original post in a way, because I'm
just helping these idiots do their job.

Of course, look at the software market. An application with an uncrackable
dongle is far far more expensive than one without. I wonder why.
